What the AI judge checked

Pass:The overall form matches the reference: the same kind of object, the same silhouette from the matching angle
- Opus 5.5: pass: The top view shows a long rectangular body with one offset ear-like flange on each long side, matching the reference photo's silhouette.
- GPT-6 Sol: pass: The renders show a long rectangular housing with ribbed sides and two opposing mounting flanges, matching the reference’s overall silhouette.
Pass:Proportions match: the relative sizes of the major dimensions agree with the reference within what the eye can judge
- Opus 5.5: pass: The body's length-to-width ratio (about 3:1) and the small flange size relative to the body look close to the reference.
- GPT-6 Sol: pass: The body’s length-to-width ratio and the flanges’ relative size appear close to the reference.
Pass:Every major feature visible in the reference (holes, slots, bosses, tabs, lips) is present in the result
- Opus 5.5: pass: The finned body and two holed mounting flanges are present; the excluded leads are correctly omitted.
- GPT-6 Sol: pass: Both mounting flanges have holes, and longitudinal grooves and fins are visible on the housing.
Fail:Those features sit where the reference has themAI judges disagreed
- Opus 5.5: pass: In the top view one flange sits on the upper edge near the right end and one on the lower edge near the left end, as in the photo.
- GPT-6 Sol: fail: The flanges are on the correct opposite sides, but the left flange sits noticeably farther from the body’s end than it does in the reference.
Pass:Nothing is present that the reference does not show — no decorative or unexplained geometry
- Opus 5.5: pass: No geometry beyond the fins, body and flanges is visible.
- GPT-6 Sol: pass: The renders show only the finned housing and its mounting flanges, with no unexplained additions.
Pass:A rectangular finned extrusion with a flat base, grooved along both long sides — not a cylinder or a plain block
- Opus 5.5: pass: The end view shows a rectangular profile with a flat base and multiple grooves cut into both long sides.
- GPT-6 Sol: pass: The part is a rectangular extrusion with a flat base and longitudinal grooves along both long sides.
Pass:No wires, lugs or terminals modelled at either end
- Opus 5.5: pass: Both ends are plain faces with no wires, lugs or terminals.
- GPT-6 Sol: pass: No wires, solder lugs or terminals are modelled at either end.
