Laser box printed hinges

The request
I want to build a small tool box on my laser cutter from 3 mm birch plywood: finger joints at the corners, a flat lid, and two 3D-printed hinges whose tabs slot into the back panel and the lid so the lid swings open. Engrave TOOLS on the front. Outside size roughly 160 × 110 × 80 mm.
What the AI judge checks
- An open box built from flat panels — a bottom and four walls — with a separate flat lid
- The corners are finger-jointed: the fingers of adjoining panels interlock rather than overlapping or leaving gaps
- Two hinges sit along the back edge, joining the lid to the back panel
- The word TOOLS is engraved on the front panel and is legible
- The lid is attached through the hinges rather than floating free of the box
- No floating, detached or unexplained geometry
Measured checks
- at least five sheet panels (gate)
- sheet thickness bound to a control (gate)
- a clearance control and no kerf control (gate)
- the clearance control is one the kit's README lists
- at least two printed parts (gate)
- verify.ok from declared expectations (gate)
- the cut & print kit builds (gate)
- the kit carries print files for the hinges
