A reducing bushing is a cylindrical sleeve that fits into a 45.75 mm bore and reduces the opening to 31.75 mm (1-1/4"), with a 13 mm axial length. It's used to adapt larger diameter holes or shafts to smaller standard sizes. The outer diameter, inner diameter, and length are all adjustable, with separate fit allowances for both diameters to compensate for FDM printing shrinkage and achieve desired press or slip fits.
