Ball-and-socket friction mount

A two-part swivel joint for a small camera, light, sensor or phone holder: the ball snaps into a slotted cup and stays wherever you point it, held by friction. The base screws down with countersunk screws and the stud's pad takes your device. Set the ball size, how far the cup wraps the ball, how many fingers it has and how tightly it grips, and the panel shows how far the ball can tilt. Both parts print without supports.
