Build notes
I needed some halloween decoration that I could stick flat on my wall outside. This was a fun project, lots of back-and forth with the agent to get right. This is a little tricky to print because it's all print in place and the joints have 'detents' that keep the spider posed in certain positions instead of it just going floppy. I've included a test leg in the files so you can just print that to see how the leg joints work and fine-tune them before printing the whole spider.
I had a lot of fun with the gears on the back. They can be printed separately and actually turn, though not as nicely as I would like. In the end my wife thought they were weird so there is an option to turn them off and have just a normal robotic spider body.
Try it out and post up some comments if you're able to print this and it turns out ok!
