The request
I've attached the STL of an enclosure lid I already printed. Keep it exactly as it is — import the mesh and build onto it, don't remodel it — and add two mounting tabs, one on each short end. Each tab stands 12 mm out past the end of the lid, is the lid's own plate thickness, and sits flush with the flat outer face the lid stands on. Put a 3.4 mm through-hole in the middle of each tab, so the two holes end up 102 mm apart. Build the tabs where the mesh sits (Z up, same origin — don't re-centre it). Keep the mesh imported in the part while you work. Put everything in one sub-part named exactly `lid`. Measure the mesh first; do not guess its size.
